ONGOING EVENTS
Eracism Meetings - Treating all colors with love and respect. Meets Tuesday nights and Saturday mornings.
Camp Restore Volunteer Work - Both skilled and unskilled labor is needed to work on restoring homes and churches. Dorm-style housing and meals provided.
Lunch with MLK - A monthly community discussion about the writings and philosophies of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. every first Saturday from 12:00-2:00pm at Camp Restore.
Prayer walks in New Orleans neighborhoods - Join us in prayer for specific neighborhoods and the people who live there.
Local and national church presentations - LINC is available for presentations, devotions, Bible studies, guest preaching, and ongoing training sessions that focus on the good news of Jesus, community development/empowerment, and missional leadership training.
Stand Firm: Gal 5 - A missional community that focuses on domestic violence victims and partners with agencies that work with battered women; meets every second and fourth Wednesday at 1:30pm at Camp Restore in NO East for relevant Bible and topic discussion, prayer, and planning for action.
LINK Worship - alternative worship faith community that meets on Sundays at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church at 7:30pm for fellowship and 8pm for worship.
Moment of Silence - United for Peace in New Orleans sponsors a moment of silence on the corner of Liberty and Martin Luther King Blvd. every Tuesday at 6:00pm.
